Wood Shields adds shield variants for every type of wood, and adds Netherite, and Upgraded Netherite variants for them.

Using all of one type of wood will result in a shield of the matching shield type. Mismatched wood will result in a default vanilla shield

In a smithing table, you can upgrade your shield to Netherite, then Iron Netherite, then Gold Netherite, and finally Diamond Netherite using your shield, a smithing template, and a corresponding Netherite ingot. Same upgrade path applies as with other tools.

Banner patterns do not work on the custom shields added due to the way they work in vanilla. Because of this, we have added a range of patterns for your shield you can add onto them with the smithing table.
